With a growing team, a second venue opening in Sydney and ambitious plans ahead, they're looking for a People & Culture Manager to shape how every team member experiences the business, from their first interview through to leadership development and career growth.

Reporting directly to the Founder and working closely with the leadership team, you'll bring the People & Culture function in-house and help create a consistent, values-led employee experience across every location.

What Your Days Will Look Like

  • Lead and evolve the People & Culture strategy as the business grows
  • Partner with leaders on workforce planning, organisational design and capability building
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment for leadership and head office roles
  • Design exceptional onboarding experiences that immerse new team members in the SOS brand
  • Lead learning, development and performance programs across the business
  • Build engagement initiatives, recognition programs and team rituals
  • Coach managers on leadership, performance and employee relations matters
  • Ensure employment compliance, contracts, policies and HR processes remain current and effective
  • Use people insights and data to support decision-making and business performance

What Makes a Great Fit

You may come from hospitality, luxury hotels, premium retail, wellness, beauty or another service-led environment where customer experience and people experience go hand in hand.

You'll bring:

  • 5+ years' experience in a broad People & Culture or HR role
  • Strong experience across recruitment, employee relations and leadership coaching
  • Experience building or evolving people programs and frameworks
  • A practical, hands-on approach balanced with strategic thinking
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment legislation and modern awards
  • Confidence working closely with founders and senior leaders
  • A passion for creating environments where people feel connected, supported and inspired to do their best work
