Position Profile: This position is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality vocational education and training (VET) resources for the WA Country Health Service (WACHS) Education Centre (RTO 53009).

The position maintains training resources for the RTO’s delivery scope and supports the expansion of the RTO’s scope of registration by researching, designing, and contextualising new qualifications, skill sets and units of competency that address WACHS workforce priorities across clinical, support, administrative and technical areas.

Working collaboratively with subject matter experts (SMEs), trainers, assessors and industry representatives, the role ensures all training and assessment materials align with the current Registration Standards, current Training Package requirements and WACHS’s strategic workforce objectives.

Eligibility to Apply: To be eligible for appointment, applicants must have a valid working visa (for fixed term appointments) or be an Australian citizen, permanent resident, or have a visa to live and work indefinitely in Australia (for permanent appointments).

Whilst this selection process will initially be used to fill the above vacancy, it may also be used to fill other "similar" vacancies throughout the health service. In addition to this, should the successful applicant decline or vacate the advertised vacancy, then the next most suitable applicant may also be selected from this process. Both of these options remain valid for a period of twelve (12) months from when the authorised delegate endorses the recruitment decision.
