Title: Project Officer (12 months role) , Temporary - Full-time Role, 35 hours per week
Salary Range: $92604.95 to $107622.32 per annum + super (subject to skills and experience)

The Building Assets Team sits withing Council’s Property, Buildings and Beach Services Business Unit and oversees the renewal of Council’s building assets as informed by Council’s Asset Management Plan. The team works with a range of internal and external customers to deliver high quality buildings that are energy efficient and durable meeting the needs of the Northern Beaches residents and visitors.

Our opportunity
The Key Focus Areas Of The Role Are
- Undertake the planning, design, delivery and renewal of building assets to ensure they remain safe, sustainable, compliant and fit for purpose throughout their lifecycle.
- Coordinate consultants, contractors and stakeholders through all stages of project delivery, including procurement, contract management/administration, design review, site coordination and project reporting.
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing clear communication, advice and support to achieve positive project and community outcomes.
About You
We’re looking for an organised and proactive Project Officer to join our Building Assets team. You’ll bring experience in construction or building project delivery, strong stakeholder management skills and a collaborative, customer focused approach to delivering high quality outcomes for the community. Adaptable and solutions focused, you can manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently and in line with Council standards and expectations.
