Join Logan Hospital as a Clinical Nurse (Nurse Grade 6) within the Peri-Anaesthesia Service on a Permanent or Temporary Part-Time basis, where you'll provide advanced clinical care, leadership and support across a dynamic peri-operative environment.
About This Role
Role
As a Clinical Nurse within the Peri-Anaesthesia Service, you will play a pivotal role in delivering specialist nursing care, clinical leadership and service excellence across the peri-operative journey by:
- Providing advanced clinical assessment, care planning and coordination for patients with complex care needs
- Delivering expert anaesthetic nursing care while ensuring high standards of patient safety and quality
- Leading and supporting nursing staff through mentorship, clinical guidance and role modelling
- Coordinating resources, workflows and patient care activities to optimise service delivery
- Contributing to quality improvement initiatives, audits, research and evidence-based practice
- Supporting education, professional development and clinical learning within the team
About You
You are an experienced and motivated Registered Nurse who is passionate about delivering exceptional peri-anaesthesia care and contributing to a collaborative team environment with:
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA)
- Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge and experience in anaesthetic nursing practice
- Strong clinical decision-making, critical thinking and problem-solving capabilities
- Proven ability to lead, support and develop nursing staff within a multidisciplinary environment
- Experience contributing to quality improvement, clinical governance and patient safety initiatives
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with patients, families and colleagues
- A commitment to person-centred care, professional excellence and continuous learning

Logan Hospital is the major health centre for one of the fastest growing areas in Queensland. We offer a range of services, including medical, rehabilitation, maternity, surgical and paediatric care.
