With around 600 staff across Australia and offshore, technology is critical to how we operate, particularly within our high-volume sales environment.

We’re looking for an experienced Head of IT & Security to lead the operational technology and cyber security function across the business while helping drive our transition toward a more AI-enabled operating model.

Reporting to the Chief Product & Technology Officer, this is a senior leadership role with responsibility across IT operations, security, compliance, resilience, vendor management and service delivery.

You’ll Directly Lead

• IT Infrastructure & Security Manager
• IT Operations Manager

You’ll also work closely with executive leadership, cloud platform teams, AI & Automation, operations leaders and external technology partners.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead IT operations and security across a national multi-site business
• Ensure high availability of business-critical systems supporting sales operations
• Lead major incident response and operational governance
• Own operational security, resilience and compliance across ISO 27001, PCI DSS and privacy obligations
• Manage strategic IT vendors including security and endpoint providers
• Drive operational improvements across IT service delivery
• Partner with AI & Automation teams to help implement AI-enabled support capabilities
• Lead and develop a high-performing IT & Security function
• Manage operational budgets, renewals and technology performance

What we’re looking for

You’ll be a commercially minded IT leader who combines strong operational capability with modern thinking around automation, security and scalability.

You’ll Ideally Bring

• Senior leadership experience across IT Operations and Security
• Experience leading medium-to-large operational IT environments
• Strong cyber security and operational resilience knowledge
• Exposure to ISO 27001 and/or PCI DSS environments
• Experience managing vendors, budgets and operational delivery
• Strong stakeholder engagement and executive communication skills
• A continuous improvement mindset with interest in AI and automation

Experience with platforms such as Okta, Google Workspace, CrowdStrike, ManageEngine or enterprise ITSM environments will be highly regarded.
