Cabrini's Day Oncology and Infusion Centre offer our patients access to a comprehensive range of cancer treatments including chemotherapy, immunotherapy and infusion services. We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse with demonstrated clinical and management leadership skills, to work on our busy Infusion Treatment Ward. You will act as a resource and actively participate in quality improvement methodology to ensure a high standard of patient care, assist the Nurse Manager with management of the Infusion centre, and be a leader to your peers, whilst aligned with Cabrini's Mission and Values.
What the role involves
Cabrini’s Day Oncology and Infusion Centre provides patients with access to a comprehensive range of cancer therapies, including chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and specialised infusion services.
We are currently seeking Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team in a full-time or part time position. This is a great opportunity for a nurse with existing clinical experience to build expertise in oncology and infusion care within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver comprehensive nursing care by assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care in partnership with patients and the multidisciplinary team
Provide person-centred care that respects patient dignity, privacy, and confidentiality
Support high-quality outcomes in line with Cabrini’s Mission and Values
What we're looking for
You are a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse with a background in infusion treatments and a commitment to delivering safe, evidence-based care. You’re eager to further develop your clinical knowledge and thrive in a team-focused setting.
You will also have:
Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
Relevant nursing qualifications and a Victorian Working with Children Check
Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar clinical role, including infusion therapy
Proficiency in cannulation, PICC, and port access
Experience in cytotoxic administration (preferred) or a willingness to train
Strong communication skills and a patient-centred approach
A team-oriented mindset and commitment to continuous improvement
