The Role

As part of the maintenance team, you’ll be responsible for keeping equipment operating safely and efficiently across site. This is a hands-on position suited to someone who enjoys problem-solving, working in the field, and being part of a reliable crew.

Your day-to-day duties will include:

• Servicing and maintaining heavy mobile mining equipment
• Diagnosing faults and carrying out repairs
• Completing component replacements and machine rebuilds
• Attending breakdowns and minimising downtime
• Conducting inspections and preventative maintenance
• Following site safety procedures and maintenance standards
• Working closely with operations and fellow tradespeople

About You To succeed in this role, you will have:

• Trade qualification in Diesel Fitting or Mobile Plant Technology
• Experience working on heavy earthmoving or mining equipment
• Strong fault-finding and diagnostic capability
• Current driver’s licence
• Exposure to Caterpillar equipment highly regarded
• A strong work ethic and commitment to safe work practices
