The Opportunity

This is more than a traditional Assistant Accountant role.

You’ll become a key member of our Finance Team, supporting the accuracy and integrity of financial operations across multiple entities and locations.

From payroll reconciliations and month-end reporting to intercompany accounting, audits and financial data management, you’ll play a vital role in keeping our business financially strong and operationally efficient.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing payroll-related accounting reconciliations and journals
• Preparing month-end journals, accruals and account reconciliations
• Supporting intercompany accounting, loan reconciliations and shared expense allocations
• Assisting with financial reporting, statutory compliance and audit preparation
• Maintaining data integrity across Xero and associated financial systems
• Collaborating with stakeholders across multiple departments and locations
• Supporting process improvement and continuous optimisation within finance operations

About You

You are a detail-oriented finance professional who enjoys solving problems, working collaboratively and taking ownership of your work.

You’ll Bring

• Experience in an Assistant Accountant, Finance Officer or similar accounting role
• Experience using Xero or comparable accounting systems
• Strong reconciliation and month-end accounting skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organisational capability
• Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
• CPA / CA studies (completed or in progress) or equivalent experience highly regarded
• Experience with payroll accounting and multi-entity environments advantageous
• Experience with RxWorks or practice management systems desirable
