Weekend Coordinator to help lead weekend operations, support our Customer Service Officers, and ensure business continuity outside standard business hours.
Purpose of the Role
Reporting to the National Operations Centre leadership team, you will oversee weekend workflow, coordinate operational support activities, and act as a key escalation point for internal stakeholders.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys solving problems, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and can confidently balance multiple priorities while supporting others to succeed. You'll be the person helping keep everything moving smoothly when unexpected issues arise and ensuring our teams and clients remain supported.
Roster Options
Option 1 – 3 Days Per Week
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Sunday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Salary: $57,800 + Super
Option 2 – 4 Days Per Week
- Thursday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Friday: 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Saturday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Sunday: 6:00am – 2:00pm
- Salary: $71,400 + Super
Both options include after-hours on-call coverage from 10:00pm Friday through to 5:00am Monday.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and monitor National Operations Centre workflow throughout the weekend
- Support Customer Service Officers by providing guidance, coaching, and escalation assistance
- Track team capability, training progress, and resource availability to support service delivery
- Arrange operational coverage for leave, unexpected absences, or increased workloads
- Monitor service levels, call queues, and response times to maintain performance outcomes
- Escalate critical operational, system, or client-impacting issues to the appropriate stakeholders
- Communicate operational updates across the business during weekends and after-hours periods
- Maintain accurate records, reports, rosters, and knowledge base information
- Build positive relationships with internal teams, service providers, and clients
- Contribute ideas and process improvements that enhance service delivery and team effectiveness
Essential
Education, Experience & Skills
- Experience coordinating workflow, operations, scheduling, or service delivery activities
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously
- Demonstrated ability to remain calm, focused, and effective under pressure
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capability
- Confidence working independently while knowing when to escalate issues
- High level of attention to detail and accountability
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications including Outlook, Word, and Excel
- Ability to build positive relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the business
- Commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
Desirable
- Experience in a contact centre, service desk, operations centre, facilities management, or customer service environment
- Exposure to workforce planning, rostering, or scheduling activities
- Experience using CMMS or workflow management systems
- Previous experience supporting or mentoring team members

This is a permanent hybrid opportunity based in Adelaide CBD, combining work from home flexibility with time spent collaborating with the National Operations Centre Team. The role offers the stability of a permanent position while providing flexibility outside of traditional Monday-to-Friday arrangements.
