About The Role

We are seeking a Senior Architect or emerging Associate to join our Public Sector team in Perth, supporting the delivery of significant and complex projects through the construction phase and beyond.

This role is ideally suited to an experienced project architect with strong construction delivery expertise who enjoys working closely with contractors, consultants and clients to achieve high-quality project outcomes. You will play a key role during procurement and construction, providing technical leadership, contract administration support and project coordination to ensure successful project delivery.

Working alongside Project Leads and Principals, you will manage and coordinate project activities, contribute to project planning and resourcing, and support the delivery of multiple projects concurrently. There is also an opportunity to take ownership of an additional project or project component, making this an excellent opportunity for an emerging Associate looking to further develop their project leadership experience.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Leading or supporting procurement, contract administration and construction phase services.
  • Acting as a key point of contact for contractors, consultants and clients throughout project delivery.
  • Managing and coordinating project documentation, technical resolution and site-based activities.
  • Monitoring project progress, identifying risks and implementing solutions to support programme, quality and financial objectives.
  • Supporting project planning, resourcing and team coordination across multiple projects.
  • Mentoring junior team members and contributing to a collaborative and high-performing studio culture.
  • Ensuring all project documentation and delivery processes align with Architectus standards and quality requirements.

About You

You are an experienced Architect with a strong technical and delivery background and a passion for seeing projects successfully realised on site. You are confident working directly with contractors and consultants, enjoy solving complex construction challenges and can balance competing priorities across multiple projects.

You Will Bring

  • 8+ years post-graduate experience, with registration preferred.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering projects through procurement and construction phases.
  • Superintendent or contract administration experience, including managing contractor and consultant relationships.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, building systems, codes, standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects, project stages or workstreams simultaneously.
  • Advanced documentation and technical delivery skills across all project phases.
  • Strong proficiency in Revit, Adobe Suite, Microsoft Office, AMS and NewForma.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to confidently engage with clients, consultants and contractors.
  • Strong project coordination and organisational skills, with the ability to work autonomously and proactively manage risks and issues.
  • Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members.
  • Public sector or other complex building project experience will be highly regarded.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement.
