About the Role
Are you an experienced HR systems professional ready to make a significant impact on our People & Culture operations? We're seeking a highly motivated Senior People Systems Administrator to support and maintain our HR technology platforms, ensuring they run smoothly and deliver excellent user experiences.
Reporting to the People Systems Manager, you'll play a key role in resolving issues, implementing system enhancements, and driving process improvements that enhance the employee experience across Auto & General.

What You'll Be Doing
As our Senior People Systems Administrator, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting our HR systems landscape. Your responsibilities will include:
- Day-to-Day HR Systems Support: Provide comprehensive support for HR systems, including issue resolution, data integrity checks, and general troubleshooting to ensure minimal disruption to business operations.
- System Implementation & Enhancement: Assist with the implementation of system updates, new features, and process enhancements that drive continuous improvement and support business needs.
- User Support & Access Management: Support system users by managing access, responding to queries, and maintaining accurate system records to ensure smooth operations.
- Data Integrity & Integration: Work with internal stakeholders to ensure data accuracy and smooth integration between systems including payroll, learning, and talent management platforms.
- Audits, Reports & Compliance: Run regular audits and reports to ensure data quality and support compliance requirements, providing actionable insights for informed decision-making.
- Documentation & Process Guides: Contribute to system documentation and process guides that support user enablement and knowledge sharing across the organisation.
- Testing & Continuous Improvement: Help deliver improvements by testing changes, gathering feedback, and sharing insights with the broader team to drive better outcomes.
What Experience You'll Bring
To thrive in this role, you'll need:
- Minimum 3 years' experience working in a HRIS or People Systems support role.
- Strong working knowledge of HR systems and related processes (experience with UKG, SAP SuccessFactors, Workday, etc. highly regarded).
- Comfortable navigating data, running reports, and supporting users.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
- Great communication skills - able to explain technical issues in simple terms.
- Ability to prioritise tasks, manage deadlines and work collaboratively.
- A proactive, adaptable mindset with a focus on finding solutions.
Highly Desirable
- Familiarity with UKG Ready or similar cloud-based HR systems.
- Experience supporting cross-functional teams or HR-related projects.
- Understanding of data privacy principles and compliance requirements.
