We’re now seeking a Gardener Supervisor to lead our grounds and landscaping operations at Castle Hill.
Your Opportunity
As Gardener Supervisor, you’ll oversee the care and presentation of village gardens, lawns and outdoor spaces, ensuring they are consistently maintained to a high standard.
You’ll lead and support onsite grounds teams and contractors, balancing hands‑on work with supervision, planning and stakeholder engagement.
In this role, you will:
Oversee the maintenance of gardens, lawns and green spaces across the village
Lead, mentor and support grounds and gardening teams
Plan and implement seasonal maintenance schedules and landscaping improvements
Manage rostering, resource allocation and day‑to‑day priorities
Ensure timely completion of routine, reactive and project work
Monitor contractor performance and coordinate external services
Maintain strong relationships with residents and respond to feedback
Ensure all work meets safety, quality and compliance standards
What You’ll Bring
You’re a practical, hands‑on leader who takes pride in creating well‑maintained spaces and supporting your team to deliver high‑quality outcomes.
You’ll also bring:
Experience leading gardening or grounds maintenance teams (~5 years preferred)
Strong knowledge of horticulture, landscaping or grounds maintenance
Experience planning schedules and managing workloads
Ability to supervise staff and contractors effectively
Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
Commitment to safety, quality and continuous improvement
Current NSW driver’s licence
A qualification in horticulture, landscaping or a related field is highly regarded.
