Senior Azure & Modern Work Engineer | MSP | Design & Delivery

You’re strong in Azure.

You understand modern cloud, identity, security and Microsoft 365. You’ve worked across endpoint management and hybrid environments, and you’ve seen how messy they can get.

You’ve fixed them.

Now you want to design them properly. This role is centred on Azure and modern workplace engineering.

That means Microsoft 365, identity, endpoint management and security, backed by broader infrastructure like Windows Server and hybrid environments when needed. But this isn’t just a build role.

You’ll also be the senior escalation point, stepping in on complex issues across cloud, M365 and infrastructure when things get stuck. You’ll still be hands on, but your focus shifts into design, delivery and ownership.

• Design Azure and modern workplace environments properly from the start
• Handle complex escalations across cloud and infrastructure
• Deliver projects across Azure, M365, Windows Server and hybrid environments
• Contribute to solution design and presales

You’ll solve problems, but more importantly, you’ll stop them happening again.

You’re comfortable going deep technically, but also stepping up with clients. You communicate clearly, build trust quickly, and people rely on you.

You understand MSP pace, competing priorities and the need to maintain high standards across multiple environments. This role is with HD IT, an award-winning Parramatta MSP with a strong “Customer Above All” mindset.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Acting as the senior escalation point across Azure, M365 and infrastructure
• Designing and delivering Azure and modern workplace projects end to end
• Improving and supporting broader client environments where needed
• Driving best practice across cloud, identity and security
• Supporting presales and solution design
• Mentoring engineers and lifting team capability
