Qualified Welder/Boilermaker

Programmed are currently seeking a qualified and experienced
Welder/Boilermaker to join a well-established automotive parts manufacturer based in Kilsyth.
Key Responsibilities
- Metal Components & Structures Steel plates, pipes, and beams (used in boilers, tanks, and structural frameworks)
- Pre-fabricated metal sections for welding and assembly
- Pressure vessels and storage tanks
- Welding and Cutting equipment
- Measuring tools (calipers, levels, tape measures)Fasteners & Fittings
- Bolts, nuts, and washers (for securing structural components)
- Flanges and valves (for piping systems in boilers and tanks)
- Not ideally suited to someone suffering from asthma or respiratory conditions
Essential
- Cert 3 Engineering - Fabrication Trade - Must be qualified boilermaker for this role
- Must have MIG (mild steel) experience
- Forklift license required
- Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings
- Experience working independently and managing workload effectively
- Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with other teams
- Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking.
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Must be reliable and available to commit to Monday - Friday.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Punctual and reliable.
