Qualified Welder/Boilermaker

Programmed are currently seeking a qualified and experienced

Welder/Boilermaker to join a well-established automotive parts manufacturer based in Kilsyth.

Key Responsibilities

• Metal Components & Structures Steel plates, pipes, and beams (used in boilers, tanks, and structural frameworks)
• Pre-fabricated metal sections for welding and assembly
• Pressure vessels and storage tanks
• Welding and Cutting equipment
• Measuring tools (calipers, levels, tape measures)Fasteners & Fittings
• Bolts, nuts, and washers (for securing structural components)
• Flanges and valves (for piping systems in boilers and tanks)
• Not ideally suited to someone suffering from asthma or respiratory conditions

Essential

• Cert 3 Engineering - Fabrication Trade - Must be qualified boilermaker for this role
• Must have MIG (mild steel) experience
• Forklift license required
• Able to read, understand and follow technical drawings
• Experience working independently and managing workload effectively
• Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise with other teams
• Strong problem-solving skills, creative thinking.
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate with other team members.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Must be reliable and available to commit to Monday - Friday.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Punctual and reliable.
