Paralegal / Legal Assistant

Senversa is seeking a part-time Paralegal to support our in-house Legal Counsel within a leading environmental and engineering consultancy. This role offers hands-on exposure to contract law and commercial legal matters in a dynamic, purpose-driven environment.

Working closely with Legal Counsel, you will support the day-to-day operations of our legal function, including:

• Assisting with contract administration and maintaining accurate records.
• Legal document preparation, review and version control.
• Maintaining registers (contracts, risk, compliance).
• Legal research and drafting support.
• Support the legal team in ensuring processes are followed accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
• Explore opportunities to use digital tools and AI to improve productivity.
• Assist in adopting and improving legal technology systems and automation tools.
Work collaboratively within the team, demonstrating strong organisation, attention to detail, and a proactive, curious approach to learning

About you

• You have previous experience in a similar role; or
• Currently completing a Bachelor of Laws or similar.
• Strong attention to detail, administration and organisational skills.
• Interest in contract law, commercial practice, or legal operations.
• Proactive, reliable, and keen to learn.
• Highly organised, reliable and process‑driven.
• Comfortable working with systems, processes and digital tools.
