Reporting to the National Account Manager, as KAM for Indies Retail, this role offers complete ownership of customer relationships across independent banners such as IBA, LMG and ILG, driving commercial outcomes and growth initiatives across a national customer base.

With strong brand momentum, expanding distribution, and ambitious growth plans, we’re entering our next phase of scale — and we’re looking for a commercially sharp, strategic Key Accounts Manager to lead the charge in independent retail groups.

The Role
This position will suit an experienced Account Manager or Sales Manager ready to step into broader responsibility, utilizing existing relationships to take ownership over the channel.
Key responsibilities include
- Managing and growing national and independent retail accounts.
- Managing all slotting boards and promotional calendars
- Delivering sales and distribution targets
- Managing trade marketing investment in line with agreed budgets
- Cross functional collaboration across marketing, operations, supply chain
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Customer service, as a brand custodian for MC
- Developing joint business plans aligned to brand and commercial objectives
- Leading range review submissions and price negotiations
- Negotiating and executing promotional programs and activation initiatives
- Supporting GTM plans for NPD launches across retail
- Providing regular trading updates and commercial insights
- Providing feedback to the wider business on customer needs, insights and market trends
About You
The ideal candidate will bring:
- Liquor industry sales or account management experience, with a focus in retail
- Experience working with wholesale, independent or national customers
- Strong commercial acumen and understanding of trade spend
- Confidence in customer negotiations and planning cycles
- A proactive, structured and relationship-driven approach
- Strong Excel and reporting capability
- Willingness to travel interstate as required
