About the team
The Corporate Finance team provide independent, well-informed advice to public and private sector clients at board level on business transactions and the valuation of business assets. The team supports business owners through every stage of mergers and acquisitions (M&A), due diligence, and valuations for sales, restructures, disputes, purchase price allocations and financial reporting. They also build customised financial models and three‑way budgeting tools that clarify the impact of financial decisions and help organisations shape pricing strategies for tender responses. Team members gain exposure to a diverse range of projects across the full transaction lifecycle, working with different leaders and developing a broad, valuable skill set.
About the role
In this leadership role, you will service your clients and deliver effective M&A advice on both buy-side engagements (leading advisory and due diligence) and sell side mandates.
You will mentor and manage a small team, collaborate across the firm and play an integral role in growing our service offering by identifying and pursuing business development opportunities.
Key responsibilities
- Manage end‑to‑end M&A engagements while guiding the team through research, financial analysis and deliverable preparation.
- Drive high‑quality transaction outcomes by overseeing industry research, bidder/target evaluation, financial databooks, Information Memoranda and key M&A deliverables.
- Manage the full due diligence process, from crafting information requests to analysing financial performance, preparing databooks and presenting findings to clients.
- Contribute to practice growth through identifying new opportunities, supporting proposals and collaborating across the firm to deliver exceptional client service.
The minimum salary package for this role is $140,000

- Related tertiary qualifications in Commerce, Accounting, Business or another related field and current experience in professional services environment.
- You have completed your completed CA,CPA, or CFA qualification.
- A natural relationship builder, you demonstrate a strong client focus and have significant experience advising on a broad range of M&A matters across a range of industries.
- As a credible and trusted professional you are motivated to deliver outstanding client results.
- You are an exceptional communicator and easily understand and translate complex business dynamics into commercial, practical and accurate reports and presentations.
