About The Role

This role focuses on leading platform enablement across governance, risk, compliance, and commercial outcomes rather than hands-on engineering. You will guide a team of specialists, including solution architects and compliance professionals, to deliver secure and scalable platform outcomes. Working across Technology and Operations, you will influence decisions, align priorities, and strengthen platform capability and compliance.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead governance, risk, communications and compliance practices for cloud platforms, ensuring alignment with regulatory and business requirements.
  • Build strong relationships with senior stakeholders, influencing decisions and aligning platform priorities to business outcomes.
  • Support commercial and vendor management activities, including contracts, performance, and value delivery.
  • Oversee business management activities, communications, ensuring risks, issues, and priorities are managed effectively.
  • Collaborate across teams to enable platform compliance adoption and ensure consistent, scalable delivery.
  • Manage and develop a team of solution architects and compliance specialists, supporting performance, growth, and clear accountability from a people perspective.

What You’ll Bring

  • Experience working in a technology environment with a strong focus on compliance, risk, communications, or governance rather than hands-on engineering.
  • Proven ability to lead and performance manage teams, including specialists such as architects, risk, or compliance professionals.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders and drive alignment across complex organisations.
  • Some experience managing commercial or vendor relationships, including contracts and supplier performance would be beneficial.
  • Confidence in navigating ambiguity, setting priorities, and delivering outcomes across competing demands.
  • Clear and effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt messaging for both technical and non-technical audiences.
