As part of our continued growth and expansion into Brisbane, we are establishing a dedicated local presence and are seeking a Junior Immigration Lawyer to join our growing Brisbane team alongside our experienced Senior Immigration Lawyer based locally.

With a team that includes Accredited Specialists in Immigration Law and a strong track record of successful outcomes, we offer a professional, supportive, and collaborative environment where lawyers are encouraged to develop their expertise, build meaningful client relationships, and grow their careers long-term.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated Junior Immigration Lawyer to join our Brisbane office starting from June 2026. The ideal candidate will bring a client-focused approach, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality legal services.

This is an exciting opportunity to join our firm during an important stage of growth and help contribute to the development of our Brisbane practice. You will work closely with our senior Brisbane-based immigration lawyer while also collaborating with our wider Sydney team, gaining hands-on experience across a broad range of immigration matters.

This role will primarily focus on corporate and employer-sponsored migration related matters. You will work closely with corporate clients across a range of industries while receiving strong mentoring and professional development support.

  • Assist primarily with corporate and employer-sponsored migration matters.
  • Prepare submissions, legal arguments, and supporting documentation for clients.
  • Attend strategy discussions with corporate clients regarding workforce planning, sponsorship options, and immigration solutions for employees.
  • Conduct legal research and stay updated on Australian immigration law and policy changes.
  • Develop strong client relationships, providing professional and empathetic legal assistance.
  • Be part of a collaborative team that values knowledge-sharing, mentorship, and high performance.

What We’re Looking For

  • Candidates who have already completed their legal studies and are ready to take on a full-time legal role from June 2026.
  • Strong interest in corporate immigration and employer-sponsored migration work.
  • Previous experience in Australian immigration law is preferred, particularly in employer-sponsored, skilled, or corporate migration matters.
  • Must have full work rights if a temporary Australian visa holder.
  • Strong legal research and drafting skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, handling multiple cases simultaneously.
  • A genuine passion for immigration law and helping clients navigate complex legal processes.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with clients from diverse backgrounds.
  • Keen attention to detail and the ability to work independently while receiving mentorship.
  • Brisbane-based candidates only — Full-time remote work is not offered for this role.

Why Join Us?
