Senior Project Manager

An opportunity has become available with one of Australia's leading specialist geotechnical contractors, delivering complex foundation, ground engineering, piling, and civil infrastructure projects across the building, transport, mining, energy, and infrastructure sectors.

With a strong pipeline of major projects throughout Queensland and the backing of a nationally recognised engineering group, this organisation is seeking an experienced

Senior Project Manager to lead the successful delivery of technically challenging projects from award through to completion.

The Role Reporting directly to senior management, you will take ownership of multiple projects and play a key role in client management, commercial performance, project planning, safety leadership, and team development.

Key Responsibilities Include

• Managing the end-to-end delivery of major geotechnical, piling, and ground engineering projects
• Leading project teams including Project Managers, Engineers, Supervisors, and subcontractors
• Driving commercial outcomes, budgets, forecasting, and risk management
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders
• Ensuring projects are delivered safely, on programme, and within budget
• Contributing to tender reviews, constructability input, and strategic project planning
• Supporting the growth and development of junior team members

About You

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline
• Proven experience delivering large-scale civil, geotechnical, foundation, piling, ground improvement, or infrastructure projects
• Strong commercial acumen with experience managing project financial performance
• Demonstrated leadership capability managing multidisciplinary project teams
• Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills
• Strong understanding of contract administration and project risk management
• Ability to operate effectively within a fast-paced project environment
