The Role

Sonic HealthPlus is seeking a full-time

Medical Officer to join our team at ANZAC House.

In this role, you will conduct pre-employment occupational suitability assessments for Australian Defence Force (ADF) candidates as part of the Defence Force Recruiting (DFR) program.

You will work alongside a highly experienced multidisciplinary team of Doctors, Nurses, and Screening staff who are committed to delivering high-quality healthcare assessments. A comprehensive onboarding and training program will ensure you feel confident and supported in your role from day one.

About You

Essential Requirements

• Australian Citizenship
• Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery (or equivalent)
• Current AHPRA registration (General Registration minimum)
• Ability to obtain:
• National Police Certificate
• Current CPR Certificate
• Working with Children Check
• Ability to obtain a Baseline Security Clearance (Sonic HealthPlus will support this process)
• Minimum 5 years post-graduate experience
• Previous Defence Force experience or military service (highly regarded)
