Trooco are delighted to be partnering with The Lottery Corporation, Australia's largest lottery operator, as we go to market in search of an exceptional Head of Organisational Development, Talent and Capability. This role will see you step into a Senior leadership role where you’ll shape the future of a large, complex and evolving organisation through people, capability and culture.
Reporting to the General Manager, People & Culture and sitting within a high-performing People & Culture leadership team, you’ll lead the strategy and delivery across organisational development, leadership capability, learning, talent acquisition and employee experience.
About The Role
You’ll play a critical role in helping the organisation evolve for the future, driving enterprise-wide capability uplift, embedding contemporary leadership practices, leading transformation initiatives and building a compelling employer brand that attracts exceptional talent.
This is a role for someone who can think strategically while still rolling up their sleeves to deliver meaningful outcomes. You’ll partner closely with executive stakeholders, influence at the highest levels and lead a talented team to deliver impactful people initiatives that genuinely move the business forward.
About You
You are a commercially minded People & Culture leader who brings deep expertise across organisational development, leadership and talent.
You’re known for your ability to influence Senior stakeholders, challenge thinking constructively and translate business strategy into practical people outcomes.
You thrive in complex environments, enjoy leading through change and bring a contemporary, forward-thinking approach to capability and culture.
You’ll also bring
- Extensive experience in OD, Talent, Leadership or broader HR leadership roles within large and complex organisations
- Strong capability in organisational design, workforce capability and leadership development
- Experience leading transformation and enterprise-wide change initiatives
- A passion for building high-performing, engaged and future-ready cultures
- Exceptional stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Strong leadership capability with experience developing and mentoring teams
- A balance of strategic thinking and hands-on delivery
