About Role

Trideca is seeking an experienced Data Integration Specialist for a short, focused contract engagement with one of our government sector clients. The client has an established automated data transformation solution that supports integration with their Learning Management System (LMS) and is looking for expert eyes to validate, strengthen and document it — not rebuild it from scratch.

This is a hands-on, outcome-focused engagement suited to a specialist who can quickly orient to an existing codebase, identify opportunities for improvement, and leave behind clear, high-quality documentation.

What You'll Be Doing

• Review the current solution end-to-end: assess reliability, maintainability, scalability and operational efficiency.
• Recommend and implement targeted enhancements or optimisations where appropriate — no wholesale redesign.
• Ensure the solution meets requirements for privacy, security, auditability and governance.
• Produce clear technical documentation and a comprehensive knowledge-transfer / handover pack reflecting any changes made.

The Tech Stack

The Existing Solution Is Built On Microsoft 365 Services And Processes Structured Data (CSV/Excel) From Multiple Source Systems (e.g. HRIS) Into a Standardised, LMS-ready Format. Core Components Include

• Python-based data processing (pandas, validation logic, delta detection)
• Power Automate Cloud for orchestration (SharePoint triggers, HTTP actions, branching logic)
• SharePoint and OneDrive for data ingestion and storage automation
• Azure Functions (Python, HTTP-triggered) for processing
• CSV/Excel dataset transformation and merging across multiple source systems

What We Re Looking For

• Proven Python data processing: transformation, validation and delta detection using pandas and related libraries.
• Power Automate Cloud expertise: orchestration flows, SharePoint triggers, HTTP actions and conditional logic.
• Azure familiarity: Azure Functions (Python, HTTP-triggered) and adjacent Azure services.
• CSV/Excel pipeline experience: structured dataset ingestion, merging and normalisation.
• SharePoint/OneDrive automation: file-event triggers, folder-level logic, permission-aware workflows.
• Strong documentation skills: able to produce clean, maintainable technical handover artefacts.
• Government or regulated-sector experience is advantageous (privacy, auditability, governance awareness).
