BioPak

About BioPak

BioPak is a purpose-led packaging company on a mission to reduce the environmental impact of packaging. We design and supply sustainable packaging solutions used by thousands of businesses across Australia and New Zealand — and we're growing fast.

The Opportunity

We're looking for an experienced Supply Planner to join our Supply Planning team. In this role, you'll take ownership of product purchasing decisions across an assigned supplier panel, ensuring our customers always have what they need, when they need it.

You'll build strong relationships with international manufacturers, keep a close eye on supply chain performance, and play an active role in driving continuous improvement initiatives across the team.

This is a great opportunity for a commercially minded supply chain professional who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

What You'll Do

Supply & Purchasing

  • Manage product purchasing decisions for your assigned supplier panel
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers to keep orders on track
  • Monitor supply chain milestones to ensure product availability and minimise out-of-stocks and backorders
  • Coordinate inter-warehouse stock transfers as required

Supply Chain Monitoring

  • Track operational costs and proactively identify issues
  • Minimise additional freight costs (transfers, LCLs, airfreight)
  • Flag significant sales variances to the Demand Planning team
  • Identify supplier-caused costs, escalate where needed, and drive cost recovery
  • Ensure supplier payment accuracy through precise POs and invoice management

Supplier Engagement

  • Lead weekly supplier reviews with structured agendas, surfacing risks and issues clearly
  • Partner with the Supply Planning Manager to implement initiatives that build a more responsive and sustainable supply chain

Continuous Improvement

  • Contribute to process improvement discussions and trials
  • Support UAT for systems and tools (e.g. NETSTOCK, reporting dashboards)

What You'll Bring

  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, or a related field; a Master's degree or CILT/CIPS certification is highly regarded
  • 5+ years of experience in supply planning and purchasing, ideally within an international corporate environment
  • Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain and procurement processes
  • Confident analytical skills, including quantitative analysis tools and techniques
  • Proven ability to manage supplier contracts and hold suppliers accountable
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills — you can work effectively with remote teams and overseas suppliers
  • Highly organised with strong planning discipline and the ability to juggle competing priorities
  • Experience developing business cases to support improvement initiatives

Why BioPak?

  • Work for a certified B Corp with a genuine sustainability mission
  • Collaborative, down-to-earth team culture
  • Bondi Junction office — well-connected and easy to get to
  • Be part of a growing business where your work has real impact
