Prosperity Media is an established SEO, Content, and Digital PR Agency based in Surry Hills, Sydney. With over 30 staff, we were awarded the best SEO agency in Australia at the Semrush Awards and, most recently, the best APAC SEO campaign at the Global Search Awards. We work with some of the most exciting brands in Australia to help them achieve their organic search goals.

You will be part of the Digital PR team, which consists of five teammates. You will report to the Digital PR Specialist and work alongside another Digital PR Specialist, Digital PR Director, Data Specialist and Senior Data Associate daily. We are on a mission to build the best Digital PR team and service in Australia, and we’d love to have you on board this journey with us!

Your background & skillset

Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, Business, Tafe Diploma or equivalent
No experience is required (but bonus if you do, of course). You will receive thorough onboarding, as well as ongoing training and support.
Possess a high degree of determination and grit; you will receive plenty of ‘no’s from journalists, but that just makes you want to succeed even more! This is key to success in this role!
Ability to juggle multiple projects at the same time.
A self-starter with a positive attitude, keen to learn, and not afraid to test new methods.
Ability to maintain a high-quality output of work.
Highly organised.
Fantastic time management skills.
Australian working rights.

What you will do

Your number one priority will be to outreach to journalists at top-tier publications to get coverage and links for our clients.
Create pitch stories and angles.
Prospect potential publications and journalists to reach out to.
Be responsible for reporting and some client management/communication.
Support on creative content ideation for existing and new clients

Compensation & Perks

Salary of around A$56,000 incl. super/yr
