THE ROLE

As a Senior Policy Officer in the Prevention Policy & Design team, you will use your policy and stakeholder engagement skills to drive the development and implementation of Victorian Government policy on the primary prevention of family and sexual violence.

Accountabilities Include

  • Provide authoritative advice, reasoned recommendations and innovative solutions to complex and sensitive issues based on comprehensive research.
  • Develop policy and program initiatives that meet government and departmental objectives within resourcing, timeline and budget parameters.
  • Monitor and report on high priority demand issues, risks and trends and prepare and present reports, ministerial briefs, Cabinet and agency submissions.
