Packing Officer

We are seeking a Packing Officer to join our Eureka Ag team on a permanent, full-time basis.

Working closely with our chemical formulators, you will provide assistance across the end-to-end chemical manufacturing process. This is a key role with a strong focus on accurately packaging and labelling chemicals in preparation for distribution. Responsibilities

As a key member of the team, you will

• Package and fill chemical products into various types of bottles and containers whilst observing Safety standards to specific Quality standards
• Read and interpret packing and safety instructions before a campaign, and identify and report any concerns or inconsistencies to the supervisor
• Participate in new product introductions (NPI), contributing to the development of packing and safety instructions for new products and supporting Management of Change (MOC) processes
• Labelling various bottles and cartons to specifications
• Maintaining quality records and recording material usages
• Some manual lifting is required
• Keeping work area clean to acceptable standards
• Some manual lifting is required

About You

• A strong communicator, with a high level of attention to detail
• Prepared to safely perform manual handling of chemical products
• Demonstrates a proactive approach and takes initiative in identifying and addressing tasks and opportunities
• Committed to adhering to safety procedures
• A forklift license and experience in a similar role would be advantageous
