Senior Associate – Employment & Workplace Relations - Sydney

We’re partnering with a leading national firm with a strong reputation across employment, industrial relations, and workplace relations. You’ll work closely with major employer, government, and institutional clients across a diverse and sophisticated mix of matters.

The Opportunity

In this role, you’ll work across:

  • Employment advisory (contracts, policies, compliance)
  • Unfair dismissals & general protections
  • Enterprise bargaining & IR matters
  • Workplace investigations
  • Discrimination, bullying & harassment claims
  • FWC, FCC & Federal Court litigation

You’ll have real ownership of your matters, the chance to build meaningful client relationships, and the opportunity to mentor junior lawyers. The work is a balanced mix of advisory and contentious matters, supported by a collaborative and well‑structured national team.

Experience Requirements

  • 5–10 years’ PAE (Post‑Admission Experience) in employment, industrial relations, or WHS law.
  • Prior experience in a Senior Associate or equivalent role, or readiness to step into one.
  • Demonstrated capability to manage a diverse portfolio of employment matters, including advisory, investigations, disputes, and compliance.
  • Experience providing timely, accurate, commercially astute advice to clients.

Remuneration

Attractive packages are available:

  • Sydney: up to $200k package
