Operations Analyst

EdAtlas

We've been fortunate to have supported ~30% of the Raw 50 students in Maths Methods in the state in 2025 (alongside 16x 99.90/99.95 ATARs). We are looking for an exceptional performer with high agency who spikes in growth and ownership

This is an early-career role for someone who is extremely capable, highly driven, and wants to learn fast by doing real work that matters

Who this is (and isn’t) for

We're looking for either:

  1. Part‑timers who are strongly intending on joining full‑time upon graduation, or
  2. Full‑time hires (graduated or up to ~2 years full‑time experience)

You should:

  • Be insanely driven, with elite attention to detail and a deep, personal obsession with outcomes - not just activity.
  • Have a strong academic and/or professional track record (ideally including VCE) and a genuine interest in education.
  • Want to commit for the medium long-term, grow with the business, and build a career here - many of my 2021 hires are still with me today.
  • Be the kind of person who others describe as “the one who always figures it out” or “the one you give the hardest problems to”.

This is not for someone looking for:

  • A low-intensity or purely structured role
  • Clear instructions for every task
  • Slow progression and minimal accountability

Expectations and reality of the role

This role sits at the core of day-to-day operations. You will:

  • Support key operational and strategic initiatives across the business
  • Break down ambiguous problems into clear actions
  • Execute quickly and accurately across multiple workstreams
  • Track performance and help improve systems over time

You won’t be expected to “have all the answers” from day one - but you will be expected to learn quickly, take ownership, and consistently raise your standard

Why this might be the best career move you make

For the right person, the upside is enormous:

  • You’ll work closely with senior leadership on meaningful problems
  • Your work will directly impact thousands of students
  • You’ll develop faster than in most graduate roles — more ownership, earlier
  • You’ll build strong operating, analytical, and problem-solving skills that compound over time

This is designed to be a strong launchpad into more senior roles within EdAtlas or beyond

If you’ve consistently created legendary outcomes wherever you’ve worked or studied - and you want a place that matches that energy and rewards it - I want to meet you
