AEA is seeking an experienced and driven Hospital Administrator/Director to take full accountability for our emergency hospital in Canberra, ACT.

About the Role

As Hospital Administor/Director, you are accountable for the overall success of the hospital, including:

  • Leading hospital strategy, operations, and performance delivery
  • Managing financial performance (P&L, budgets, growth initiatives)
  • Building and leading a high-performing, engaged team
  • Driving operational efficiency and service excellence
  • Ensuring the highest standards of patient care and client experience
  • Maintaining strong WHS, compliance, and risk frameworks

About You

We’re Looking For a Capable, Values-driven Leader With

  • 7+ years’ experience leading people and complex operations
  • Strong commercial and financial acumen
  • A track record of improving performance, not just maintaining it
  • Exceptional people leadership and stakeholder management skills
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to lead in fast-paced, high-pressure environments

Experience in veterinary sector or healthcare is advantageous - but not essential.
