TRS Resourcing is currently sourcing and screening experienced Trade Qualified Boilermakers / Fabricators for a day shift workshop opportunity based in Melbourne’s Western Suburbs.

This role offers the chance to join a highly regarded engineering and fabrication workshop delivering precision-manufactured components across defence, infrastructure, transport, and industrial projects.

This is an excellent opportunity for fabricators with strong MIG and TIG welding capability who enjoy workshop-based fabrication work within a professional and safety-focused environment.

The initial assignment is expected to run for a minimum of 26 weeks, with the potential to transition into a permanent full-time position for the right candidate.

Pay Rate

• $58.00 Per Hour + Super
• Overtime available
• Weekly pay cycle

Key Responsibilities

• Fabrication and assembly of engineered metal components
• Reading and interpreting workshop and engineering drawings
• MIG and TIG welding to a high standard
• Working autonomously and within a fabrication team
• Maintaining quality and safety standards within the workshop

To Be Successful, You Will Need

• Trade qualification in Boilermaking / Fabrication
• Strong MIG and TIG welding experience
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Excellent fabrication and mechanical aptitude
• Ability to prioritise tasks and work unsupervised
• Current working rights within Australia
• Be currently based in Melbourne, Victoria
• Contactable references from previous employers
