To provide accurate, timely, high quality coded data of complex inpatient separations from any or all of the hospitals within the Illawarra Shoalhaven LHD using the current edition of ICD-10-AM, ACHI, and the Australian Coding Standards in order to meet Activity based Funding (ABF) targets, ISLHD reporting timeframes, provide data for research, planning and financial management

From Helensburgh in the north to North Durras in the south, ISLHD covers an area of 5,687 square kms. That’s 5,687 square kms of beautiful beaches, coastal cycling tracks, lush rainforests, incredible bushwalks and friendly people.   • Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category B role.
  • Successful completion of a recognised clinical coding course applicable to the Australian inpatient setting
