Senior Analytics Engineer - Power BI

• 3 Month Contract Role with Likely extension

Our client is a well-known organisation and a market leader in their industry, currently seeking an experienced Senior Analytics Engineer to join their high-performing analytics team. This role offers the opportunity to work across a variety of complex datasets and deliver scalable, insight-driven solutions that are used across the organisation.

You will…

• Communicate with a range of cross-functional stakeholders to gather and translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead the end-to-end development of analytics and reporting solutions, with a strong focus on Power BI.
• Design and build robust data models and semantic layers to transform raw data into meaningful, actionable insights.
• Develop advanced DAX calculations and optimise reporting performance to ensure solutions meet enterprise standards.
• Work across ETL processes and data pipelines within a complex data warehouse environment.
• Take stakeholders on a data journey through compelling storytelling, insights, and visualisations.

You will be someone who has…

• Advanced knowledge of Power BI, including DAX and Power Query (M Language).
• Strong SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
• Extensive experience working within enterprise data warehouse environments.
• Proven experience in data modelling and ETL development.
• Experience within the medallion architecture
• The ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
• A strong track record of delivering scalable analytics solutions in fast-paced environments.
