Consultant Psychiatrist - Contractor | Remote | Australia-wide

Lunea is Australia’s specialist telepsychiatry clinic for women’s hormonal and reproductive mental health. We support women through perimenopause, menopause, PMDD, perinatal mood disorders, and the full spectrum of reproductive life transitions - conditions that are chronically underserved by mainstream psychiatry.

The role

This is a contractor position with genuine flexibility. You set your own hours, build your own caseload, and work entirely from home. Lunea handles admin, referral intake, scheduling, billing etc. - you focus on the clinical work.

What we offer

• Complete schedule flexibility - from a few sessions per week to full caseload
• Tiered service fee that reduces as your caseload grows
• Indicative net earnings of ~$199K (part-time) to ~$994K+ (full caseload)
• A small, collegiate team led by a psychiatrist co-founder with deep expertise in women's hormonal mental health

What we're looking for

• FRANZCP or equivalent specialist registration
• Current AHPRA registration
• Medicare provider number and valid ABN
• Experience managing complex mood and anxiety disorders
• Interest or experience in women's hormonal or reproductive mental health highly regarded

Highly Regarded

• Interest or experience in women’s hormonal mental health

• Experience with perinatal psychiatry or PMDD

• Familiarity with collaborative GP-psychiatry models

• Experience in private practice or telehealth platforms
