The Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity available for a Manager to join our Markets & Growth (M&G) team on a 12 month fixed term contract basis. This role can be based in any Ashurst office in Australia.
Our M&G team span across EMEA, Asia Pacific and the US and more broadly forms part of our global Clients Markets & Growth function. M&G play an integral role in executing the firm's strategy and are responsible for driving profitable growth with a specific focus on our chosen industries, markets and clients.
This role has a particular focus on the Australia Energy Industry. You'll be responsible for supporting industry collaboration, growth and client engagement and will work closely with the Australia Energy Industry stakeholders to support the Energy strategy across the region.

About you
The successful candidate will have;
- Previous experience in a law firm, professional services or industry business development environment
- Demonstrated experience for both coaching teams and managing major projects and/or initiatives
- Commercial awareness and an innovative mind-set for developing and evolving ways of working
- Strong interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to build trusting relationships with the partnership and business services.
- Enthusiastic and proactive, with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage multiple projects and activities
- Previous experience in a client facing capacity including client listening experience
- Ability to influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organisation with strong executive presence
