Job Opportunity: Portfolio Asset Management Lead

This role offers a unique opportunity to lead the refresh and development of a long-term Portfolio Asset Management Plan. You will identify opportunities for expansion and determine critical capital funding to ensure service sustainability and growth, making a lasting difference to public services.

What You Will Do:

• Lead the refresh and development of the 2023-2032 Portfolio Asset Management Plan to ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
• Identify future expansion opportunities for the technologies and ICT service asset base across the portfolio.
• Estimate future technology debt balances and build detailed financial models to determine required capital funding.
• Conduct qualitative business risk and impact assessments across the portfolio to support informed prioritisation.
• Develop a Portfolio Management Roadmap and build operational requirements to sustain data model maturity over the next five years.

What You Need to Apply for This Role:

• Broad knowledge and understanding of major trends, strategic directions, and legislative frameworks related to ICT asset management.
• Experience in developing and implementing ICT asset management strategies within a large, complex, and geographically dispersed service delivery organisation.
• Proven ability to conduct system analysis and design and provide realistic solutions within tight deadlines.
• High-level knowledge of performance reporting, data analytics, and working with large, integrated datasets from multiple sources.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Power BI, including creating dashboards, reports, and data visualisations to provide actionable insights.
