Job Role and Summary

As a Telehealth Nurse Practitioner Prescriber, you will operate in an oversight and prescribing capacity within a streamlined, technology-driven environment. This is a fully remote, independent contractor opportunity offering flexibility, autonomy, and the ability to be part of a rapidly growing space in healthcare.

You will be responsible for reviewing patient information, assessing clinical suitability, and prescribing where appropriate, while working collaboratively with a nursing team who manage patient screening, education, and documentation.

This role is ideal for a practitioner seeking flexible additional income or a long-term opportunity within a modern, preventative healthcare model.

Responsibilities

• Review patient histories, screening, and clinical documentation prepared by the nursing team
• Assess patient suitability for treatment pathways in line with clinical guidelines
• Conduct telehealth consultations where required to support clinical decision making
• Prescribe and sign off on treatment plans where clinically appropriate
• Provide clinical oversight and ensure patient safety, compliance, and best practice
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary telehealth environment
• Maintain accurate and compliant clinical records in line with AHPRA standards

Required Skills & Experience

• Current registration as a Nurse Practitioner with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency with no restrictions
• Accredited and eligible to prescribe within Australia
• Current Professional Indemnity Insurance
• Ability to operate as an independent contractor (ABN required)
• Comfortable working within telehealth platforms and remote care models
• Strong clinical judgement with a patient-centred approach
• Interest in preventative, longevity, or optimisation-based healthcare highly regarded
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within a collaborative virtual team
