The Opportunity
This is an opportunity to step into a genuinely commercial, in-house Legal Counsel role embedded within a growing national business delivering complex infrastructure and renewable energy projects.
As part of CPP’s Legal & Corporate Services team, you’ll work closely with project and operational leaders across the business — not just reviewing contracts, but shaping how projects are structured, negotiated and delivered. You’ll be involved from early-stage tenders and contract negotiations through to live project support, giving you full lifecycle exposure rather than purely advisory work.
You will have access to a wider network of legal resources, through our local parent company, Quanta Services Australia, and ultimate US parent company, Quanta Services Inc. You’ll gain exposure to major infrastructure and renewable energy projects, with the opportunity to build a long-term in-house career while continuing to grow your technical and commercial capability.
This role is ideal for a lawyer looking to deepen their commercial impact. You’ll partner with Program Managers, Project Managers and engineers, providing pragmatic, solutions-focused legal advice that balances risk with project delivery outcomes. Whether you come from private practice or in-house, you will bring commercial judgement and the ability to turn legal advice into clear, practical guidance. This is a strong career-building opportunity to gain exposure to significant projects, deepen your understanding of construction and renewable energy, and learn within a supportive national team.
