Retained has partnered with a large, commercial organisation to find a Desktop Support Engineer for their growing team. If you are keen to move around the office and have a chat with colleagues opposed to sitting all day then this may be for you.
- Initial contract until 31 July 2026 plus potential extensions
- Based in Brisbane CBD
- Microsoft tech stack - M365 / Entra ID / ServiceNow
Key Responsibilities
- Provide helpdesk support for hardware and software
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across laptops
- Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of devices
- Maintain helpdesk tickets and documentation
- Assist with system updates, maintenance, and technology projects
- Ensure technology resources are functioning efficiently and securely
You will demonstrate
- Experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and ServiceNow
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- A proactive and solutions-focused approach
