Retained has partnered with a large, commercial organisation to find a Desktop Support Engineer for their growing team. If you are keen to move around the office and have a chat with colleagues opposed to sitting all day then this may be for you.

  • Initial contract until 31 July 2026 plus potential extensions
  • Based in Brisbane CBD
  • Microsoft tech stack - M365 / Entra ID / ServiceNow

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide helpdesk support for hardware and software
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues across laptops
  • Assist with the setup, configuration, and deployment of devices
  • Maintain helpdesk tickets and documentation
  • Assist with system updates, maintenance, and technology projects
  • Ensure technology resources are functioning efficiently and securely

You will demonstrate

  • Experience in an IT support or helpdesk role
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365 and ServiceNow
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • A proactive and solutions-focused approach
