Our clients are a leading boutique Private Wealth Management advice in Canberra CBD with multiple offices nationally (25+ staff). They are focused on delivering sophisticated, personalised wealth management solutions to high-net-worth individuals, family offices, and business owners.
Our clients have strong back-office support (Associate + Paraplanner) for each adviser and offers deep technical advice, a collaborative team culture, and a high-touch client service model.
Our clients are looking for a Senior Private Wealth Adviser to take on a leadership position. Each adviser will have strong back-office support (Associate + Paraplanner).
Role Overview
We are seeking a Private Wealth Adviser to manage a book of high-end clients as our clients and take on a leadership position. This role will be to look after existing clients and new referrals that come through along with mentoring junior advisers. There is an established client base and referral partners so there is no expectation for you to generate new business.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of high-net-worth and sophisticated client relationships.
- Provide strategic and ongoing financial advice consistent with the firm's advice and investment philosophy.
- Work closely with the other advisers, analysts and client service teams.
- Contribute to the development of more junior advisers and associates.
- Engage with prospective clients and contribute to the controlled growth of the practice.
- Maintain the standards of documentation, compliance and process discipline expected within the firm
Key Skills & Experience
- 5+ years’ experience as Private Wealth Adviser
- Proven ability to manage sophisticated HNW family groups and deliver complex financial strategies
- Leadership experience highly regarded
- Ability to embrace new technology (including agentic AI)
- Leadership experience is highly regarded
- Strong interpersonal and social skills.
