About Our Client

Our client is a well-established provider of maintenance, shutdown, fabrication, and industrial support services to the mining and resources sector across the Mackay region. They are recognised for delivering safe, reliable, and high-quality solutions while maintaining a strong focus on teamwork, performance, and continuous improvement.

What You Will Be Doing

As a Payroll Officer, your responsibilities are:

  • Processing weekly payroll for 200300 employees
  • Managing payroll data entry, timesheets, and payroll compliance
  • Assisting with payroll queries and employee records
  • Ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Supporting the accounts and administration team with general duties as required
  • Working across a 38.5-hour work week

What You Will Need

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:

  • Minimum 5 years experience in a high-volume payroll position
  • Strong knowledge of payroll processes and compliance requirements
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team environment
  • Strong communication and computer skills
  • Ability to commence in the role from the 8th of June
