Details: The Epidemiology Section plays a vital role in improving the health of the ACT population by providing timely and accurate data to inform policy and public health interventions.
We are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Registry Officer to support the operations of the ACT Cancer Registries. This role will have a key focus on the ACT Prostate Cancer Outcomes Registry (PCOR-ACT), ensuring its effective day-to-day management, alongside contributing to broader Cancer Registry functions.
You will utilise ACT clinical and administrative data to identify eligible participants, applying registry inclusion and exclusion criteria with accuracy and attention to detail. Your ability to interpret and work with complex clinical information will be essential, as you review and extract data relating to diagnosis, treatment, and ongoing patient management.
A key part of the role involves administering participant surveys through a variety of methods, including mail, email, and telephone interviews. This will require a professional and empathetic approach, particularly when discussing sensitive health matters such as sexual health.
