Blacktown Medical Oncology Research at Blacktown Hospital is a highly regarded and rapidly growing Clinical Trials Unit dedicated to advancing cancer treatment through innovative clinical drug trials and investigator-initiated research studies. The Unit manages a diverse portfolio of active studies, including Phase 1 first-in-human through to Phase 3 clinical trials, supporting patients participating in life-changing research.

What You'll Be Doing
As the Clinical Trials Administration Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the efficient coordination and administration of oncology clinical trials. Working under the direction of the Team Leader, you will ensure accurate workflow management, support patient visits and treatment scheduling, and provide high-level administrative assistance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Coordinate and schedule patient appointments in line with trial protocols
- Maintain accurate medical records while ensuring confidentiality and privacy compliance
- Provide frontline administrative support with empathy and professionalism
- Organise meetings, prepare agendas and complete minute taking
- Support billing and administrative processes to ensure timely and accurate outcomes

How To Apply

- Previous experience working in a patient focussed setting within an oncology and/or hospital setting.
- Demonstrated advanced computer skills including all aspects of MS Office, clinical databases, email and setting up electronic distribution lists.
- Demonstrated excellent attention to detail, in particular with data entry.
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal skills and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate with senior clinicians and external staff.
- Experience working in a high volume, busy, multi skilled, team environment.
- Working experience or exposure to medical terminology.
- Experience in medical record management.
