About Our Client
Our client is part of a globally established industrial engineering group with a strong reputation for delivering high-performance sealing solutions into critical industries. With operations spanning Europe, the Middle East, APAC, and the Americas, they partner with major organisations across mining, oil & gas, defence, and pharmaceutical sectors.
Reporting directly to the National Sales Manager, you will be responsible for driving sales growth across a defined QLD territory, with a focus on the greater Brisbane region and key industrial hubs.
Key Responsibilities Include
- Proactively identifying and converting new business opportunities within mining, chemical processing, water, and industrial sectors
- Building strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across customer organisations
- Managing the full sales cycle from prospecting through to negotiation and close
- Delivering product presentations across a diverse portfolio including seals, gaskets, mechanical seals, and expansion joints
- Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline, forecasting sales activity, and tracking performance against targets
- Conducting regular client visits and acting as the face of the business in the field
- Monitoring market trends and competitor activity to identify new growth opportunities
- Collaborating internally to ensure seamless onboarding and ongoing account development
The Successful Applicant
You are a driven, commercially minded sales professional with experience in industrial or technical environments and a strong track record of winning new business.
You Will Bring
- Proven field sales / Busisness Development experience within industrial, engineering, pumps, valves, or related sectors
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify opportunities and close deals
- Exposure to selling technical or multi-product solutions into industrial clients
- Established networks across manufacturing, mining, or processing industries
- Experience managing a sales pipeline and delivering against targets
- Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels
- A technical aptitude (ability to understand drawings, systems, or applications is advantageous)
