Kinetic is on the lookout for a Payroll Trainee to join our team full-time while completing a Certificate III in Business. This is the perfect opportunity for someone who’s curious, detail-oriented and ready to learn the ropes in a real-world payroll environment.

You’ll be supported by an experienced team who will teach you everything you need to know no prior payroll experience required, just the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Based at our Coomera depot, this is your chance to build a career, not just land a job.

About the role

  • Learn by doing as you support the payroll team with day-to-day operations
  • Assist with payroll processing and data entry (new starters, changes, terminations)
  • Help maintain accurate employee records and payroll documentation
  • Support filing and organisation of payroll records (digital and hard copy)
  • Respond to basic payroll queries and learn how to manage more complex issues over time
  • Build strong working relationships across the business
  • Provide general administrative support and keep things running smoothly

About you

  • Looking to start a career in payroll, HR or business administration
  • Willing to complete (or currently completing) a Certificate III in Business
  • Curious, eager to learn and not afraid to ask questions
  • Strong attention to detail and organised approach to your work
  • Good communication skills and enjoys working in a team
  • Basic admin or office skills are a bonus but not essential
