Professional Affairs Manager

The result of the professional affairs strategy will be to help promote the CooperVision range of contact lenses in ANZ with a goal of increased preference for the Company’s products versus those of competitors and in doing so, facilitate the achievement of our commercial plan, meeting the financial and commercial goals and contributing to the overall success of CooperVision ANZ.
The person in this role will be able to work within and across teams to ensure that sales and the brand equity of CooperVision’s products are maximised through education, training, advice, relationship building, and related support.
This is a fixed term position ending 31 October 2027 and may be full-time or part-time (4 days per week).
Responsibilities
- Develop an extensive knowledge related to the market: contact lens fitting, clinical practice, competitor activity, customer channels (corporate and independent insights).
- Work closely with the Marketing team in the application of both internal and external professional communication programs, marketing and sales activities which enhance and solidify CooperVision’s relations with the optometry community.
- Create and deliver engaging, high-quality CPD-eligible education through all appropriate communication channels
- Create, build and solidify key stakeholder relationships, including key opinion leaders and industry bodies.
- Provide clinical and technical advice to customers and employees.
- Represent CooperVision at selected industry and professional meetings.
- Actively partner with customer business teams to offer expertise in all optical, clinical and training aspects to key accounts.
- Help co-ordinate pre- and post-launch trials of key products to support best outcomes in product launch.
- Assist with the design and implementation of effective education programs, tools and related activities to increase the usage of CooperVision products.
- Develops a strong understanding of CooperVision’s global competencies, products and policies.
Qualifications
- Degree in Optometry with therapeutic endorsement.
- Registered to practise in Australia and/or New Zealand, CPD-compliant.
