Venue Manager

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Duty Manager with a strong focus on dining service and bar operations to join our iconic Surry Hills pub, The Dolphin Hotel. https://dolphinhotel.com.au

About The Role

As Duty Manager, you’ll lead service across both the bar and on the floor, ensuring every guest enjoys an exceptional experience from start to finish. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment, leads by example, and brings positive energy to every shift.

What We’re Looking For

• Previous experience as a Duty Manager in a busy pub or restaurant
• Strong background in dining service and bar operations
• Confident leading front-of-house teams during busy service periods
• Excellent customer service skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
• Ability to maintain high service standards across restaurant and bar areas
• Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
• Experience training, mentoring, and motivating staff
• Great attention to detail and organisational skills
• Friendly, professional, and hands-on approach
• Current RSA and RCG required
