The Opportunity

Coppin Centre is seeking reliable and motivated

Food Services Assistants to cover our dedicated dishwashing shifts and support kitchen and dining operations. You’ll work with a supportive team to ensure all dishwashing and cleaning tasks are completed efficiently, helping us deliver safe, highquality meal services to residents.

Key Responsibilities

• Dishwashing & cleaning — Operate commercial dishwashers and ensure all kitchenware is cleaned, sanitised, and stored correctly
• Kitchen support — Assist with basic food preparation and kitchen tasks as required
• Dining room setup — Help prepare meal trays, set up dining areas, and support meal service
• Infection control — Follow strict hygiene, food safety, and infectioncontrol procedures
• Team collaboration — Work cooperatively with chefs, food service staff, and care teams
• Safe work practices — Maintain a clean, safe, and organised kitchen environment

What You’ll Bring

• Hospitality or kitchen experience (preferred but not essential) Reliable, positive, teamfocused attitude
• Ability to work efficiently in a fastpaced environment
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
• Comfortable performing manualhandling tasks, including lifting heavier items
• Availability for rostered shifts, including weekends

Key Requirements

• Valid Police Clearance or NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
• Proof of Covid19 vaccination (three doses)
• Annual Flu Vaccine encouraged
