The Opportunity
Reporting to the General Manager – Financial Reporting, this 24-month maximum term contract is critical in supporting Mainland through a significant post-acquisition transition.
As Finance Contractor – Senior Manager, you will stabilise financial control processes, remediate historical balance sheet issues, and ensure high-quality statutory, group and sustainability reporting during a period of structural and operational change.
In this role, you will:
- Leading the exit from TSA arrangements while maintaining strong financial control and process continuity
- Overseeing balance sheet reviews and remediation of historical issues across entities
- Delivering accurate and timely reporting across statutory, group and audit requirements
- Supporting legal entity restructures, consolidation changes and transaction-related accounting
- Partnering with stakeholders and Group Finance to provide technical accounting guidance and resolve complex issues
About You
You are a technically strong finance professional who thrives in complex, fast-paced environments and brings a hands-on, delivery-focused approach.
To succeed in this role, you’ll ideally bring:
- 8–10+ years’ experience in financial control, reporting or audit within large or complex organisations
- Experience supporting post-acquisition integration, transformations or carve-outs
- Strong expertise in balance sheet governance, audit delivery and IFRS reporting (CA/CPA)
- Exposure to legal entity restructures, consolidation or evolving reporting requirements
- Strong systems capability and the ability to navigate ambiguity and competing priorities
