About the Client

We are partnering with a leading boutique law firm specialising in personal injury matters. Focusing mainly on Compulsory Third Party (CTP) and Workers Compensation (WC), this position has become available due to exponential growth within the firm, and presents an excellent platform for professional growth and career progression.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing a diverse portfolio of personal injury matters, including CTP and WC claims
• Representing clients in the Personal Injury Commission and other relevant forums
• Providing strategic legal advice on liability and overall claim strategy
• Drafting legal correspondence, submissions and court documentation
• Negotiating settlements and attend mediations, conferences and dispute resolution proceedings
• Liaising with medical experts, rehabilitation providers and barristers to progress matters effectively
• Maintaining accurate, organised, and efficient file management across all matters
• Provide exceptional legal advice and representation while building and maintaining strong client relationships

Key Requirements

• Previously working as a solicitor in NSW, hangling CTP, WC and Common Law claims, with a minimum requirement of 2+ years post-admission experience (preferred)
• Proven experience in workers compensation (both plaintiff or respondent) and/or personal injury litigation
• Confidence in managing client interactions and providing strong legal advice
• Strong file management capabilities with the ability to work independently and manage competing priorities and deadlines
• High-level written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex legal concepts clearly and concisely
• Exceptional attention to detail and a proactive, solutions-focused approach
